The TV signal was spotty, which can be annoying if you want to unwind with some entertainment. while the room had great character, it felt a bit small for two, more suited for a single traveler. The breakfast sausage was extremely spicy, which might not suit everyone's taste, leaving you guessing about the rest of the menu for the day.

Family with children paradise
The couple running the place were incredibly attentive to my kids. they supplied everything we needed, made sure the play area was safe, and even had a few toys at hand. The Indian breakfast was a game changer! It really set us up for a fully packed day ahead, can't get enough of that spicy veggie omelet.
It wasn't the cheapest option I've ever seen, but I reckon it's worth it.

Chimneys Guest House really surprised me with its charm. Suhel greeted me warmly upon arrival, which made settling in easy. My room had delightful Victorian features and a stunning view across Blackburn. Breakfast options were fantastic. I went for the Indian breakfast and it was delicious. Suhel even catered to my dietary needs, providing gluten-free bread and soya milk. The place was spotless everywhere, truly immaculate. the room felt a bit cramped for two people, and the TV signal wasn't great. Still, I appreciated the cozy ambiance and the attentive service. Definitely a great spot for a comfortable stay.
